The Bapes of Wrath

Yes, Nigo is a genius.  He built a multi-million dollar empire on manufactured exclusivity and “limited editions.”  But because of the picture below, you’ll see why I will never buy any Bape, Bapesta or A Bathing Ape.  This picture was take 3 blocks from my house.  Yes I’m livin’ ghetto fabulous, but the only way this label is exclusive anymore is if it’s because nobody will venture into the neighborhoods it’s sold in.

This ridiculously hilarious thread from a streetwear fashion message board could only be found funny by people who think the whole “HypeBeast/Limited Edition/Streetwear” scene is ridiculously hilarious in-&-of-itself.  And people who think Pharrell & Nigo are a little too friendly.
